Description of work:

A Landscape Foreman will be responsible for managing commercial landscape maintenance accounts and supervising a team of 2-4.  You’d create, maintain & enhance beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. You’d safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and tools and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the maintenance of all areas as defined by the general foreman.

• Supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of all equipment assigned to the course.

• Supervise special projects as directed by general foreman.

• Manage and dispense supplies and materials to support maintenance activities.

• Directly supervise and train landscape employees. Provide feedback on employee training and discipline.

• Identify problems and communicate promptly with general foreman.

• Protect the company's interest by an awareness of and compliance with all applicable regulations including client and company policies.

• Administer all aspects of the Westfield’s Safety Program.

• Represent Westfield’s Landscape Maintenance Division in a positive and professional manner including attitude, appearance, and speech.

• Maintain effective employee and public relations.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old or older.

• Have at least 2 years as a full time landscaper.

• Enthusiastic, dependable & a strong leader.

• Able to safely work with commercial grade equipment like power saws, cutters, mowers & trimmers.

• Able to lead a team of 2-4 in providing professional maintenance services. Including but not limited to; Lawn care, shrub pruning, leaf clean-up, weed control & tree cutting.

• Able to communicate with client and general foreman in a timely manner.

• Able to work in a fast pace environment when needed to compete deadlines.

• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish.

Preferred:

• At least 5 year experience in commercial landscape maintenance.

• Landscaping and/or tree service certifications.

• Osha 30 hour certification.

• CPR Certified.
